Granny knows "scratch"
Three times a day, Granny choked off globs of flour and lard from her well-worn wooden dough bowl. Her hot, steaming buttermilk biscuits punctuated every meal. Mark Ballard makes his grandmother's melt in your mouth "taste of heaven" that is so easy you'll be ready to can the supermarket can. Georgie the dog gives them a high-five in a lip-smacking, tail-wagging review.

What fun! I have a lot of the same memories of my grandmother. We should definitely not lose this tradition here in the South.
